Experience an unforgettable close encounter with Humpback Whales on this 90-minute express whale watching cruise from Port Stephens. Travel aboard ‘Envision’, a 40ft fast cat for a quick journey straight out to sea to spot the whales on their annual migration past Port Stephens from June to November.
Every year approximately 35,000 whales pass by the coastline and passengers will be able to spot these majestic creatures from every angle with 360 degree viewing aboard the vessel. While you are out exploring the Marine Park, keep your eyes peeled for dolphins and Fur Seals that like to laze on the rocks near Cabbage Tree Island. If conditions are suitable, the crew may even drop the hydrophone in the ocean so you can listen to the unique whale songs happening in the ocean.

- 'Envision' is a 40ft fast cat, designed to move through the water quickly but safely and smoothly. Climb on board as the Skipper heads straight out to the whales. Enjoy less travelling time and more time with these magnificent animals, and make sure you bring a camera. You will be hosted by an Advanced Eco-Accredited company, dedicated to the protection of dolphins and whales. In 2015, this experience provider was awarded 'Green Travel Leader' accreditation, making them one of just 104 companies in the country that can demonstrate commitment to environmental responsibility through 10+ years of ECO certification. This experience is part of the Responsible range because they are ECO certified by Ecotourism Australia.

- Please wear warm clothes & bring a jacket as it can get cold on the water.
- In the event of rain or inclement weather your experience will still go ahead unless contacted by the experience provider.
- It is recommended that you take sea-sickness tablets prior to boarding, however, complimentary tablets are available on the boat.
- Please note: This is an offshore excursion and is not suitable for children under the age of 5 years.
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience

Beautiful quick trip out to the middle of the ocean got to see a majestic whale and her baby and pod of dolphins on the way back. Absolutely beautiful.
Thoroughly recommend. The staff were very helpful and happy that we had a couple of French tourists on board who had binoculars on hand. He could spot the whale breaching from afar and another tourist to spot the Dolphins on the way back.
